Science Ambassadors at Edgewood College

Are you interested in volunteering as a Science Ambassador?

Science Ambassadors are Edgewood College students who volunteer at science events organized by the Office of Science Outreach throughout the year.

Science Ambassadors can help with science activities, materials prep, childcare, and event set up and clean up. You do not need science experience to help!

Events range from Science Olympiad to Family Science Night to monthly science nights with community partners both on and off campus.

We have events coming up on April 27th from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at Kennedy Heights Community Center, and May 19th from 5:30-8:00 p.m. on the Edgewood Campus. More dates and locations will be added throughout the semester.

If you are interested in learning more or signing up for an event, please contact Sarah Stoehr at sstoehr@edgewood.edu.

Student Ambassador Testimony
"I became a Science Ambassador to become more involved in the science community here at Edgewood. I love guiding young minds in the wonders of science and acting as a role model for the students. Being a Science Ambassador is meaningful to me because this program and the mentors involved are something I wish had been available to me as a student navigating school and science, so I am happy I can give other young students opportunities to get them excited about STEM."
