Homecoming Weekend

October 21-22, 2023

All Edgewood College Alumni, along with their family and friends, are welcome! Homecoming is free - please join us for any or all of the planned activities. We look forward to hosting you on campus and celebrating with you on this special weekend!

Overview of Events:

Saturday, October 21st

  • 10:00am-12:30pm Alumni Tailgate with Reunions for the Classes of 2013 and 2018 (Regina Lot)
    • 10:00am to 12:00pm Edgewood College Campus Store will be open - Purchase Edgewood College spirit wear!
  • 12:00pm Women's Volleyball Match vs Marian University (Edgedome)
  • 2:00pm Cornhole Tournament (Regina Lot)
  • 2:30pm Sweet Treat under the Tent (Regina Lot)
  • 4:00pm-6:00pm Homecoming BBQ (Regina Lot)
  • All day fun
    • Scavenger Hunt
    • Bouncy House

 

Sunday, October 22nd

  • 10:00am Mass (St. Joseph Chapel)
  • 11:00am-12pm Family & Friends Farewell (Washburn Heritage Room)
  • 2:00pm Edgewood College Music Department: Choirs & Guitar Ensemble (McKinley Performing Arts Center-Edgewood High School)

 

 

Support our Students with a donation to Catherine’s Pantry!

For more than 10 years, Catherine’s Pantry, our on-campus food pantry, has provided healthy and accessible sources of food, personal care items, and household products to students in need. Food insecurity is often a critical area of need for students. Our college is not an exception to this nationwide issue in higher education, with 24% of our student body coming from low-income families. Supported by our Office of Mission, Values & Inclusion, Catherine’s Pantry – named after Saint Catherine of Siena who exemplified the Dominican Studium in her own life – has been a significant complement to this solution.

This Homecoming, thank you for considering a gift or non-perishable donation to Catherine’s Pantry.

Needed items:

  • Canned soups
  • Canned vegetables
  • Shelf stable grab-and-go snacks (ex. Granola Bars)
  • Shelf stable protein sources
  • Non-perishable food items
  • Hygiene items:
    • Menstrual products
    • Shampoo
    • Soap
    • Deodorant

  • $50.00 would purchase 16 grab & go meals
  • $75.00 would purchase 9 toiletry kits
  • $100.00 would purchase 290 granola bars
