We invite you to visit campus and experience Edgewood College. The best way to get a feel for the college is to take a campus tour with a student ambassador, meet with an admissions counselor, speak with current students, attend a class and meet a professor or two!
Private College Week is a time when Wisconsin’s private colleges provide special visit opportunities to help high school juniors and seniors get a jump start on the college search process. What's in store for your Private College Week?
Designed for you and your family, Summer Preview Day is a chance for you to learn about the college search process, academics, student life, financial aid, scholarship opportunities, and much more!
Campus tours take approximately 1 hour. The walking tour will be led by a Student Ambassador - a representative of the admissions office and current Edgewood College student trained to provide information about campus to visiting students and families. The tour includes a visit to the academic buildings, the library, the gym and two underclassmen residence halls.
Campus tours and meetings with admissions counselors are available Monday through Friday at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.
On Mondays at 2:15 p.m. and Fridays at 10:15 a.m. between February and May, a special 45-minute residence hall tour will be available for visitors. The walking tour will also be led by a Student Ambassador and will showcase all of the residence hall buildings open to underclassmen. In addition to visiting several residence hall rooms, the tour will also include helpful information about life on campus.
It is strongly recommended that you schedule your campus visit 1-2 weeks in advance so that we may accommodate your needs and answer all of your questions during your time here.
(for groups larger than 10 visitors) We welcome groups from schools, community centers and college preparatory programs with students in grades 8-12. Group visits are available Tuesday through Thursday between the hours of 9am and 3pm. All visit requests must be made at least one month in advance of the desired visit date.
Monroe Street is getting an upgrade this year, which will make driving, walking, and biking in our neighborhood great! It will just take a bit of patience to get to and from campus while that work happens.
There is only one lane open from Odana Road to the west (from the direction of the Beltline) all the way to Regent Street (toward Camp Randall Stadium).
From the Beltline: follow signs/GPS directions to Edgewood College, and allow extra time since all traffic will be moving in a single lane.
From downtown/UW Campus area: access campus using Jefferson Street. Follow the signs on campus at the gated entrance to the College.
