Admitted Student Days are exclusively for admitted freshmen and are a great way to experience life as an Edgewood College student. This is not just another tour of campus. Here’s what you can expect:

  • Attend a class...or two...or three.
  • Speak with professors and student life staff.
  • Meet current students...and other admitted students.
  • Eat at Phil’s Cafeteria.

Programming begins at 8:45 and runs until 3:00. In addition to attending classes, the day will include special sessions on a variety of exciting topics including Life on Campus, the School of Education, the School of Nursing, and the School of Business. You can also take a tour of campus and our residence halls. 

If you are interested in auditioning for a Talent Scholarship in Art, Music, Theatre, Writing or Spanish/French, please contact the appropriate department to set up an appointment.

Inside EC: Multicultural Open House
Wednesday, February 7th
5-7 p.m.

 

The Edgewood College Office of Undergraduate Admissions and the Office of Student Involvement and Inclusion, invites high school students to attend the annual Inside EC: Multicultural Open House. Admitted and prospective high school seniors are invited to campus to explore student life, educational opportunities, financial aid, and receive tips on completing the Edgewood College scholarship application. Current students will be on hand to help students learn more about Edgewood College and the 4-year full tuition Community Scholars Award.

We encourage high school seniors interested in Edgewood College to attend the program. For many prospective students, the Open House provides a greater understanding of the Edgewood College experience.

February 3rd and March 3rd

 

Discover Edgewood College on this student-led tour of campus and the residence halls. Follow that up with an informative presentation given by one of our admissions counselors. During the presentation you will: 

  • learn more about academics, class sizes and faculty interaction,  
  • find out how our early admissions and financial aid timeline works,
  • see what scholarship opportunities are available,
  • hear about student opportunities on and off campus and much more!

Check-in begins at 9:45 a.m., and programming concludes at 11:30 a.m.

TOUR DETAILS

Campus tours take approximately 1 hour. The walking tour will be led by a Student Ambassador - a representative of the admissions office and current Edgewood College student trained to provide information about campus to visiting students and families. The tour includes a visit to the academic buildings, the library, the gym and two underclassmen residence halls.

TOUR TIMES

Campus tours and meetings with admissions counselors are available Monday through Friday at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.

SPECIAL RESIDENCE HALL TOURS

On Mondays at 2:15 p.m. and Fridays at 10:15 a.m. between February and May, a special 45-minute residence hall tour will be available for visitors. The walking tour will also be led by a Student Ambassador and will showcase all of the residence hall buildings open to underclassmen. In addition to visiting several residence hall rooms, the tour will also include helpful information about life on campus.

Group Visits

(for groups larger than 10 visitors) We welcome groups from schools, community centers and college preparatory programs with students in grades 8-12. Group visits are available Tuesday through Thursday between the hours of 9am and 3pm. All visit requests must be made at least one month in advance of the desired visit date.
