You’ll have opportunities to learn more about the different majors and minors we offer. You can also showcase your talent by auditioning or interviewing for a Talent Scholarship in Art, Creative Writing, Foreign Language, Journalism, Music or Theatre. 

Enjoy a complimentary lunch and live performances during this exclusive visit experience. Also, get a backstage look at the Edgewood College Visual and Theatre Arts Center!

Preview Day is designed for you and your family - a day to learn about the college search process, academics, student life, financial aid, scholarship opportunities, and much more! The day will include a student panel, a walking campus tour, and informational sessions.

Throughout the day, you'll have opportunities to:

  • Experience our values-based liberal arts education that helps students connect learning, beliefs, and action
  • Discover the  benefits of attending Edgewood College in the vibrant capital city of Madison
  • Explore degree programs and meet with faculty
  • Learn more about our admissions process, financial aid, and scholarship opportunities
  • Tour our beautiful campus

Check-in for each Preview Day begins at 9:00 AM and programming concludes at 12:00 PM.


Campus tours take approximately 1 hour. The walking tour will be led by a Student Ambassador - a representative of the admissions office and current Edgewood College student trained to provide information about campus to visiting students and families. The tour includes a visit to the academic buildings, the library, the gym and two underclassmen residence halls.


Campus tours and meetings with admissions counselors are available Monday through Friday at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.


On Mondays at 2:15 p.m. and Fridays at 10:15 a.m. between February and May, a special 45-minute residence hall tour will be available for visitors. The walking tour will also be led by a Student Ambassador and will showcase all of the residence hall buildings open to underclassmen. In addition to visiting several residence hall rooms, the tour will also include helpful information about life on campus.

It is strongly recommended that you schedule your campus visit 1-2 weeks in advance so that we may accommodate your needs and answer all of your questions during your time here.

Group Visits

(for groups larger than 10 visitors) We welcome groups from schools, community centers and college preparatory programs with students in grades 8-12. Group visits are available Tuesday through Thursday between the hours of 9am and 3pm. All visit requests must be made at least one month in advance of the desired visit date.
