Madison, Wis. (December 16, 2020) – Henry J. Predolin Foundation is pleased to announce a grant of $785,000 to Edgewood College. This grant will provide scholarships at Edgewood College for nearly 120 students, and make possible the acquisition of sophisticated lab equipment for the new Health Science-Respiratory Care program.

“Edgewood College as a community is grateful for this support from Predolin Foundation, whose impact is in many ways beyond measure,” President Manion said. “Predolin Foundation’s strong history of support is made manifest in the lives of our students and alumni, who serve our communities both here in our state, and across the country.”

Over the past 13 consecutive years Edgewood College has received a total of more than $10 million in support from Predolin Foundation. These generous grants are made annually to support undergraduate students majoring in the areas of Business, Nursing, and Science. Predolin Foundation grant funds are allocated toward scholarships, new equipment, and capital construction for those academic areas. Since 2008, the total scholarship support received from Predolin Foundation is more than $6 million and has benefitted nearly 450 students.

“Predolin Foundation is pleased to provide this annual financial support to carry out Henry Predolin’s vision of assisting students who want to attend Edgewood College by providing them with Predolin Scholarships and funding improvements to Edgewood College’s equipment and facilities in the Predolin Academic Areas,” Bob Chritton, Predolin Foundation President, said.

Scholarships from Predolin Foundation continue to be among the largest and most far-reaching benefactor-supported scholarships offered at Edgewood College.

Henry Predolin served on the Board of Trustees of Edgewood College from 1988 to 1991, and was instrumental in helping to develop the vision for the campus master plan.
