Madison, Wis. (August 1, 2018) – The application for new freshmen to attend Edgewood College in the Fall of 2019 is now open, but with a special opportunity: the application fee is being waived between now and October 1, 2018.
This announcement is the latest step taken by Edgewood College to remove barriers that can prevent students from attending the college of their choice, Derek Johnson, Executive Director of Undergraduate Admissions, said.
“We are interested in eliminating hurdles that can affect students and families in their college search process,” Johnson said. “We hope prospective students will visit campus, and add us to the list of schools they are considering. Applying sooner provides students with early access to important information about scholarships, living on campus, and special visit opportunities. That information puts students on a path to making a great college decision.”
The fee, which is regularly $30, will be waived for undergraduate applications received through Oct. 1. Application fees are common among colleges and universities and help offset the administrative costs of undergraduate applications.
