New Program to Enhance Cultural Understanding of Hmong-American Culture

Madison, Wis. (May 24, 2018) – Edgewood College is pleased to announce the Hmong American Certificate Program. The new initiative is designed to help educators and other professionals understand the history, refugee experience, culture, and challenges of the Hmong-American community.

This program is a joint partnership between The Hmong Institute and Edgewood College. Attendees will enhance their knowledge and skills as they invest in providing culturally competent services to the Hmong-American community. Professionals in education, healthcare, legal services, law enforcement, and other areas are encouraged to learn more about this new opportunity.
