College Hosts ‘Community Conversation’ Around Diversity

Madison, Wis. (May 15, 2017) – Edgewood College is pleased to welcome Greater Madison to a special Community Conversation.

Hosted by the Madison Network of Black Professionals, a panel of Chief Diversity Officers will discuss their roles in their respective organizations, and engage community questions and concerns.

The panel is at 5:30 pm, Monday May 15, 2017, in Anderson Auditorium. There is no admission charge, and the public is invited.

Panelists include Shiva Bidar-Sielaff, Chief Diversity Officer, UW Health; Alvin Hill, Jr., Director of Diversity and Cultural Competence, Milwaukee Center for Independence; Lisa Peyton-Caire, Vice President of Life, Learning and Events, Summit Credit Union; Patrick Sims, Vice Provost for Diversity & Inclusion/Chief Diversity Officer, UW-Madison; Tracey Williams,  Diversity and Inclusion Advisor, American Family Insurance; and Tony Garcia, Directory of Diversity and Inclusion, Edgewood College.

The panel and discussion will be moderated by Dawn Crim, Associate Dean for External Relations, UW-Madison School of Education, and member of the Board of Trustees at Edgewood College.
