Tee Up for Nursing

Madison, Wis. (August 26, 2014) – Edgewood College is pleased to announce a record-setting year for its annual Tee Up for Nursing golf outing.

More than $80,000 for scholarships in the Henry Predolin School of Nursing was generated at this year’s event, hosted by Nakoma Golf Club. Madison native and LPGA Champion Sherri Steinhauer once again served as honorary chair for the event.

To date, Tee Up for Nursing has generated more than $600,000 to support scholarships for nursing students. In 2013-2014, more than 100 students earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from the College, both through traditional and accelerated programs. Some 90% of those graduates will remain in Wisconsin, and serve in a wide variety of healthcare settings: hospitals and clinics, public health departments, school districts, home healthcare settings, and health advocacy agencies.

The 12th Annual Tee Up for Nursing is scheduled for Monday, July 13, 2015.
