Who should apply using the undergraduate application?

See which best describes your student status, so you can select the correct type within the undergraduate application.

Freshmen Students

First-year students are current high school students or high school graduates who have never attended college. Select the “Freshmen Application” type within the undergraduate application.

Transfer Students

High school graduates who have some college credit but haven’t completed a bachelor’s degree should select the “Transfer Application” type within the undergraduate application.

Post-Baccalaureate Students

College graduates with a bachelor’s degree who are seeking another undergraduate major, degree, or certificate should select the “Post-Baccalaureate Application” type within the application.

Non-Degree Seeking Students

These students are interested in taking courses for fun or professional development. You must submit a transcript. Within the undergraduate application, select the “Non-Degree Application” student type.

Cutting Edge® Students

Students with intellectual developmental disabilities seeking an individualized education should select the “Non-Degree Application” option on their undergraduate application.

Early College Credit Program

Students planning to take classes at Edgewood College for dual high school and college credit should select the “Non-Degree Application” type within the undergraduate application.

International Exchange

Students enrolled in an international exchange program should select the “Non-Degree Application” type within the undergraduate application.

Limited Status

These students take two or fewer classes for fun or professional development. No transcript is required. Select the “Non-Degree Application” type within the undergraduate application.

Who Should Apply Using the Graduate Application?

View which best describes your student status, so you can select the correct student type within the graduate application.

  • Graduate Students–students interested in a master’s degree or a graduate certificate program
  • Doctoral Students
  • International Graduate Students—students attending college in the United States on a student visa
  • Non-Degree Seeking Students—students who are interested in taking courses for fun or professional development. Students must submit an official transcript and should select the “Non-Degree Application” type within the graduate application

Student Types With Separate Applications

Re-Entry Students

If you have previously completed undergraduate coursework at Edgewood College and are returning under the same student status as when you left, please complete the Re-Entry Form.

If you have previously completed undergraduate coursework at Edgewood College but want to change your student status to take additional undergraduate coursework, please complete a new application for admission.

Auditors

Students who wish to audit and attend a class for fun or professional development with no credit or grade for their participation. If you wish to audit a class, please complete the Auditor Application.

Graduate Re-Entry Students

If you have previously completed graduate/doctoral coursework at Edgewood College and are returning under the same student status as when you left, please complete the Re-Entry Form.

Graduate Auditors

Students who wish to audit and attend a graduate class for fun or professional development without receiving credit or a grade for their participation should complete the Graduate Auditor Application.
