Privacy Policy

Edgewood College takes the confidentiality of your medical record very seriously. Privacy and confidentiality of student treatment records is protected by FERPA law.  Employee records are protected by HIPAA privacy law.  The Health Center maintains an Electronic Health Record (EHR) that complies with HIPAA security standards. Your health record may include:

• your immunization and health history form
• any appointment or treatment at the Health Center
• lab reports
• any documents received from other clinics
• correspondence with your provider

Every patient coming to the health center will be asked to sign a Confidentiality Policy. This form details how your information is protected and shared.
