EC Supports Undocumented & DREAMer Students
At Edgewood College, we believe in the life, dignity and equality of the human person and that every person is created with infinite value, equally worthy of care and respect. We are committed to recruiting, enrolling and supporting a diverse student population, regardless of documentation and citizenship. With this foundation and guiding principle(s), we consider undocumented and DACA students living in the United States as candidates for admissions.
- Students living within the state of Wisconsin qualify for in-state tuition, regardless of status, at Edgewood College.
- Institutional financial aid and scholarships are available for undocumented and DACA students at Edgewood College.
- Undocumented students and DACA students follow the same application process that all students at Edgewood College.
- If you do not have a social security number, please leave that space blank on the admissions application. Please do not use a false Social Security Number, your DACA-issued Social Security Number, your Employment Authorization Number, or your Individual Tax Identification Number (ITIN), during any part of the admission application process.
Financial Aid & Scholarships for Undocumented/DACA Students
Federal and state financial aid is not available for Undocumented and DACA students; however, Edgewood College offers academic scholarships, talent scholarships, and specialty awards.
Completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is not required to be eligible for Edgewood College academic scholarships, talent, and specialty awards.
Instead, students without citizenship status are encouraged to complete the DACA Student Financial Aid Application. Please complete this one-page paper application and send to ecentral@edgewood.edu.
