The partnership gives Edgewood College access to upGrad’s expertise in emerging technologies in online education, and will enable the College to expand the work begun by the Dominican Sisters of Sinsinawa in the Fall of 1927, the first year Edgewood Junior College began educating students.
Madison, Wis. (January 27, 2023) – Residents of southeastern Wisconsin will now have an opportunity to earn a Bachelor of Science in Nursing while remaining in the region. A unique new program brings the Nursing program at Edgewood College to the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater at Rock County campus, complete with a full faculty, clinical coordination expertise, and an innovative curriculum that integrates classroom instruction with hands-on clinical and simulation experiences.

(December 8, 2022) – Ruth Foundation for the Arts (Ruth Arts) has announced a grant of $75,000 to Edgewood College for Ernest Hüpeden’s Painted Forest Art Environment in Valton, Wisconsin. This grant, as part of their total $11.5 million in gifts to 138 arts organizations this fall, came from the new Ruth DeYoung Kohler (RDK) Legacy Fund.

Madison, Wis. (November 2, 2022) - Dr. Amy Schiebel has been honored with the 2022 Stemmy Individual Award. Dr. Schiebel created the Office of Science Outreach (OSO) in 2008 to provide expert-level, fully accessible, and research-based science education programming for historically underrepresented communities in STEAM.

Madison, Wis. (April 13, 2022) – Edgewood College is now enrolling students in a new Master of Science in Thanatology program, which will begin in fall 2022. The new advanced degree is offered in a fully-online format. The program will equip graduates to serve their communities and organizations as specialists who are knowledgeable about the dying and grieving process.

Seven students in the Computing and Information Sciences 400-level Information Security and Network Management class enjoyed a very real ‘field trip’ on Monday, September 10, when they attended the 6th Annual Governor’s Cybersecurity Summit, on the campus of UW-Madison.
“It definitely made me want to serve the underserved communities out there,” Jenny Kim, who is in the first weeks of her junior year at Edgewood College, said of her experience at the UCLA Summer Health Professions Education Program.
1st Lt. Abby Roach ’18, who recently earned her degree from the Henry Predolin School of Nursing at Edgewood College, has been awarded a $3000 scholarship by the Army Nurse Corps Association.
