Men's Golf Earns National Academic Honor

MADISON, Wis. – The Edgewood College men's golf team already has a long list of academic credentials, but the Eagles have added another to their trophy shelf. The Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) announced their 18Birdies Team Academic Awards, and included the Eagles as an All-Academic Team.

Edgewood College earned a team grade point average of 3.481, led by Alex Wedige's perfect 4.0 GPA. Four other team members, Jackson Eversoll, Nathan Gilbert '17, Josh Hentrich and Zach Hentrich '18, had a grade point average better than 3.75. Benedictine University and Wisconsin Lutheran College were the only other NACC programs to earn the All-Academic Team Honor this year.
