1st Lt. Abby Roach ’18, who recently earned her degree from the Henry Predolin School of Nursing at Edgewood College, has been awarded a $3000 scholarship by the Army Nurse Corps Association.

New Articulation Agreements with Madison College Put Students First

Edgewood College is pleased to announce a deepening partnership with Madison College. New articulation agreements signed late last week guarantee admission to Edgewood College for Madison College associate degree holders and allow honors students at Madison College admission to the Honors Program at Edgewood College after transferring.

Derek Johnson Honored With Emerging Leader Award

Mr. Johnson is the Director of Freshman Admissions at Edgewood College. The award will be celebrated at the 2016 Emerge Gala, to be held this weekend in Madison.

Center for Healthcare Education and Simulation Receives Civic Engagement Award

Edgewood College is pleased to announce the Center for Healthcare Education and Simulation (CHES), a unique partnership between Edgewood College, Dean & St. Mary’s Hospital and UnityPoint Health-Meriter, has received an Esther Letven Campus-Community Partnership Award. The award was presented by the Wisconsin Campus Compact on April 18 at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee.

Edgewood College is pleased to announce that senior Marissa Blackmore has received the Jack Keating Student Civic Leadership Award. The award is presented by the Wisconsin Campus Compact. Ms. Blackmore received the award today, April 18 at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, as part of the Civic Engagement Institute.

Chamber Singers Make History with a Spring Break to Remember

The Edgewood College Chamber Singers made history in March when they travelled to Quito, Ecuador as the first American collegiate choir to be invited to the Festival Internacional de Música Sacra (International Sacred Music Festival), one of the most prestigious Easter music festivals in South America.

President Flanagan Invited to Nation’s Capital as ‘Champion’ for College Success

Madison, Wis. (March 22, 2016) – Dr. Scott Flanagan has been invited by the U.S. Department of Education to participate in “Championing Completion: Improving College Outcomes for Pell Students.” Only a select number of college and university presidents nationwide have been invited to attend this day-long meeting at the Department of Education in Washington, D.C. on March 24, 2016.

Five Greats to be Inducted into Eagles Hall of Fame

The Edgewood College athletics department is pleased to announce that five former Eagles have been selected for induction into the Edgewood College Hall of Fame . Baseball player Matt Hill (1999-2002), women's soccer player Meghan Magner (1998-2001), women's basketball player Megan Scheele (2005-09), men's soccer player Nathan Selk (1993-96) and volleyball player Tara Zuhlsdorf (1991-94) will be inducted in a ceremony on April 22, 2016 in Madison.

Doctor of Nursing Practice Program Receives Accreditation

Edgewood College is pleased to announce that the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) has granted their maximum five-year accreditation to the Henry Predolin School of Nursing for its new Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) program.

Student Named ‘Young Philanthropist of the Year’

Alex Haunty, a student at Edgewood College, has been named the ‘Young Philanthropist of the Year’ by the Madison chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals. Haunty was honored at today’s National Philanthropy Day luncheon at the Overture Center in Madison.

Edgewood College has earned a place on the Military Times Best for Vets: Colleges 2016 list, marking the first time the College has received this honor.

Willits and Marchionda Honored with Mazzuchelli Medallion

Madison, Wis. (November 5, 2015) – Edgewood College has honored Ann Willits, O.P. and Jim Marchionda, O.P. with the 2015 Mazzuchelli Medallion. The awarding of the Samuel Mazzuchelli medallion recognizes those who cultivate intellectual and spiritual resources to empower others. The Medallion, one of the College’s most significant honors, is named for Fr. Samuel Mazzuchelli, who founded the Dominican Sisters of Sinsinawa.

Men’s Golf Achieves Both In and Out of the Classroom

The Edgewood College men’s golf team has placed themselves among the nation’s academically elite golf programs. The Eagles were one of just 24 teams nationwide, and one of only eight NCAA Division III programs to receive the 2015 President’s Special Recognition from the Golf Coaches Association of America.
