College Announces Graduate Degree in Thanatology

Madison, Wis. (April 13, 2022) – Edgewood College is now enrolling students in a new Master of Science in Thanatology program, which will begin in fall 2022. The new advanced degree is offered in a fully-online format. The program will equip graduates to serve their communities and organizations as specialists who are knowledgeable about the dying and grieving process.

College Updates Policy on Masks on Campus

Madison, Wis. (February 23, 2022) – On March 1, 2022, mask-wearing inside campus buildings at Edgewood College will become optional, with an important exception: the requirement remains in effect during classes, and in labs and other instructional spaces. That requirement will remain in effect until at least April 1, 2022.

Henry J. Predolin Foundation Gifts $925,000 for Scholarships

Madison, Wis. (January 11, 2022) – Henry J. Predolin Foundation is pleased to announce a grant of $925,000 to Edgewood College. This grant will provide scholarships at Edgewood College for approximately 135 students—incoming first year students, upper classmen, and transfer students.

Edgewood College Adjusts Start of Spring 2022 Semester

Madison, Wis. (January 5, 2022) – Edgewood College has updated the start of the Spring 2022 semester for in-person undergraduate courses to Monday, January 24, 2022. This update does not impact graduate courses, online courses, or accelerated courses, which will adhere to originally published schedules.

Psychology Students Present Semester Research Projects

Madison, Wis. (December 10, 2021) - Undergraduate students from two Psychology classes celebrated their scholarly accomplishments at a Poster Symposium on December 6th. At the event, some students presented a critical analysis of a research topic or shared their internship experience. Some students, who were in both classes, did both!

ROSE Project Grows Outside of Madison

Madison, Wis. (December 15, 2021) - The Resources and Opportunities in Science Education (ROSE) Project partnered with Carmen Schools of Science and Technology to host the first event in Milwaukee. Students observed a colony of bees, discussed bee ecology, and analyzed how keeping of bees safe is crucial for our well-being.

Andrew P. Manion, Ph.D. installed as 9th President

Madison, Wis. (October 10, 2021) - On Sunday, October 10, 2021, Andrew P. Manion, Ph.D., was formally installed as the ninth president of Edgewood College. Members of the Board of Trustees, faculty, staff, alumnae, students, and community members gathered to celebrate the event. The Installation Mass, celebrated by Most Reverend Donald J. Hying, Bishop of the Diocese of Madison, was held on-campus and in-person in St. Joseph Chapel.

Edgewood College Again Named to ā€œBest For Vets: Collegesā€ List

Madison, Wis. (September 29, 2021) – Edgewood College has been named to the Military Times Best for Vets: Colleges 2021 list. This marks the fifth year Edgewood College has earned this honor. For the first time, Edgewood College is ranked in the top 50 of colleges and universities across the U.S. The College is the highest rated institution of the six colleges and universities in Wisconsin who received this honor.
