Madison, Wis. (August 23, 2024) – On Sunday, August 25, 2024, Edgewood College will welcome nearly 280 new first-year students moving into their new homes on campus to begin their undergraduate career in the Year of Partnership. That incoming class represents a 25% increase over the fall of 2023. Including students who have chosen to transfer to Edgewood College, new student enrollment stands at more than 350. Student-athletes make up 40% of the new student enrollment.
“We are honored to welcome these students and their families to this community,” President Andrew Manion, said. “Our mission of educating students is more important today than ever, and we’ll continue to expand the reach of that mission as we prepare for our second century in Madison, and beyond.”
Edgewood College expands the reach of the mission through strategic partnerships. The results of those partnerships are significant. By September of this year, the College will be home to more than 1,260 graduate students, studying both in the U.S. and across 35 countries. Online delivery of graduate Business and Education programs is fueling the growth in graduate students, who now outnumber undergraduate students for the first time in the history of Edgewood College.
