Eagles Baseball Hosts Veterans Appreciation Day

Madison, Wis. (April 28, 2015) – The Edgewood College Eagles baseball team invites you to a special opportunity to say “Thank You” to men and women who have served in our nation’s military.

At 5:00 pm, Monday, May 4 at Stampfl Field in Verona, the Eagles host the University of Chicago for Veterans Appreciation Day. Students from the College’s Student Veterans Association will throw out the first pitch, and a special ‘Seventh Inning Stretch’ provides an opportunity to honor our veterans in attendance.

A freewill donation at the game will support the Student Veterans Association at Edgewood College. Currently there are more than 150 veterans and dependents enrolled at the undergraduate and graduate levels.

Tickets for games are $5.00 for adults, $3.00 for kids and seniors. Edgewood College students admitted free with I.D. There is no charge for all U.S. Military veterans.
