The St. John's Bible Heritage Edition

The Saint John’s Bible is a hand-written and hand-illuminated Bible commissioned by the Benedictine monks of St. John’s Abbey in Collegeville, Minnesota. Through the Heritage Program, institutions can enjoy a piece of this extraordinary work through high-quality reproductions of those seven books. Learn more about the Heritage Edition

Bringing the Heritage Edition to Edgewood College

Recently, Edgewood College held "A Year With The St. John's Bible," showcasing the Heritage Edition book of Gospels and Acts of the Apostles. The text served as a centerpiece for campus liturgical celebrations, retreats, lectures, and classroom presentations.

Through many supporters’ generous gifts, Edgewood College joined institutions from all corners of the world – from the Vatican Library and Museum in Rome, to the Morgan Library and Museum in New York, to universities and colleges of many countries – and brought the St. John’s Bible Heritage Edition to Edgewood College. We are honored to share this 21st century version of the Word with our community of students, scholars, and friends.
