Biology Symposium: Michelle Woodard – Relationships Among Personality, Metabolic Rates, and Social Status in Male Green Anole Lizards
I studied how differences in personality and resting metabolic rates may influence the outcome of territorial interactions in male green anole lizards – whether individuals will become dominant or subordinate. Personality is defined as repeatable differences in behavior among individuals, including traits like activity level, boldness, aggressiveness, sociability, and exploration.
