YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN Musical Auditions
Mel Brooks’ Young Frankenstein (West End Production) Director: Stephen G. Tabor, Music Director: Dr. J. Adam Shelton, Choreographer: Kristin Roling. Performances Nov.15-16; Nov. 20-23 WHAT: Auditions for Mel Brooks’ Young Frankenstein (West End Production) WHEN: Monday, Sept. 16th & Tuesday, Sept. 17th, 6pm-9pm. WHERE: Edgewood College, STM 210 (Vocal Auditions); Diane Ballweg Theatre (Dance Call). WHO: Auditions are open to everyone, including non-theatre majors and members of the community.
Vocal Auditions: 6pm-7pm & 8pm-9pm, STM 210. Audition slots will be 10 minutes apart with two auditioners per slot. Please prepare a 16- to 32-bar cut of a comedic musical theatre song. You may be asked to sing again, have your range checked, and/or be asked to read from the script.
Dance Call: 7pm-8pm, Diane Ballweg Theatre. You will also be taught and present a short musical theatre dance, which will include a tap portion. Please do not bring tap shoes! You may attend the dance call either day. For those interested go to SIgn up Genius
