Monroe Street campus is home to our main campus. This location includes the Oscar Rennebohm Library, two dining spaces, four residence halls, banquet spaces, reception spaces, an auditorium, a work out facility as well as a boardwalk overlooking Lake Wingra and the UW Arboretum. The Anderson Auditorium (pictured above), located in Predolin Hall, is a perfect space for presentations, performances and any event requesting theater style seating. The auditorium includes a stage with a sound and technology board podium.
All classrooms include a computer, projector, screen, and phone. Classrooms vary in styles with rooms including individual desks or tables and chairs. There are also two lecture halls on campus seating 80-136.
There are five computer classrooms on campus, two contain Mac computers and three contain PC computers.
There are two dining halls on campus. Phil’s dining hall, located in Regina Hall, seats up to 170 cafeteria style with booths, tables, and high boys. Wingra Café, located in Predolin Hall, seats up to 50 with a mixture of booths and tables.
Meeting rooms include a 55” flat screen and computer, or computer with projector and screen, as well as a phone with conference call capabilities. Meetings rooms are available in a variety of furniture configurations.
Located on the edge of Lake Wingra, Edgewood's boardwalk spans the length of campus. The boardwalk includes multiple areas for sitting as well as ideal fishing spots. The boardwalk parallels walking trails in the woods as well as a local bike path leading to the Henry Vilas Zoo.
The Regina Terrace is located outside Phil’s dining hall with picnic table seating. The stone terrace overlooks the wooded area in front of the lake, and grassy area ideal for cookouts.
Located just outside of the Predolin Commons, the Terrace is a multilevel area with casual outdoor seating. The Terrace overlooks a grassy area that is ideal for outdoor gatherings and cookouts.
Edgewood College is the ideal location for your upcoming reception. With windows facing Lake Wingra, our Washburn Heritage Room can comfortably seat up to 104 guests. Our staff can assist in the planning and execution of your reception through catering, technology, and event planning.
Residence halls range in size from single- to triple-rooms with traditional and suite style set ups. Two of our halls include single and double rooms with a communal bathroom. Our other two residence halls are suite style with suites ranging from three to six people sharing a bathroom, shower, and sink(s). All residence halls include washers, dryers, as well as kitchens and fridges. Each floor also has a lounge with a TV and additional amenities. Here is a list of pricing of our residence halls.
The Nona McGreal room is a circular room with configurable seating for 38. Most tables can be collapsed, allowing for open space. The room provides a beautiful view of the campus.
