Prepare for Your Future at Edgewood

At Edgewood College, we believe in helping every student reach their full potential from the very start, beginning with a supportive and transparent admissions process. Our goal is to ensure that every prospective student feels confident and well-informed as they embark on their academic journey. We strive to make the admissions process straightforward and accessible, providing you with all the necessary tools and guidance to help you succeed from the beginning.

To apply to Edgewood College, applicants must submit their high school transcripts, providing a cumulative GPA, or a GED if high school transcripts are not available. The average GPA for our new entering students is 3.4. It is important to note that while admission to Edgewood College opens the door to many opportunities, acceptance into specific programs or schools, such as nursing and education, may have additional requirements.

We recommend that applicants present at least sixteen units of high school study, with twelve units chosen from fields such as Natural Science, Social Science, English, Foreign Language, History, and Mathematics. Completing two years of the same foreign language with grades of C or better in grades 9-12 is highly recommended; if not completed in high school, the equivalent will be required at Edgewood College. To help you navigate this process, we provide a detailed checklist to ensure you meet all necessary requirements and deadlines.

Application Checklist:

  • High School Transcripts (with cumulative GPA and class rank if available)
  • GED (if high school transcripts are not available)
  • ACT or SAT scores (optional)
  • Sixteen units of high school study (twelve from recommended fields)
  • Additional entrance requirements for specific programs (e.g., nursing, education) if applicable

By offering clear guidance and a supportive admissions process, Edgewood College aims to help you take the first step towards a successful and enriching college experience.
