Undergraduate Theatre Arts

The Department of Theatre Arts has a learning by doing approach to the art of theatre. Once you step foot in the theatre, you have the opportunity to get involved immediately - on stage or behind the scenes. The program is interdisciplinary, and customizable for each individual student. You will work with an advisor to create a “Pathway” of classes that suit your interests, talents and goals.

Program Highlights

  • The Department of Theatre Arts performs in The Diane Ballweg Theatre with all the top equipment for technical training.

  • Stage time! With four mainstage productions a year and casting of majors and non-majors, there’s plenty of opportunity to hone your craft

  • This is not just a college community-it’s a family. It’s a family with many unique members who are all accepted with every quirk and eccentricity they have. Being a part of this community means that you always have a home and someone to rely on. The value of what I have gained from attending Edgewood College is immeasurable.
