Madison, Wis. (August 27, 2015) – Edgewood College is honored to be recognized on the National Universities list in the Washington Monthly 2015 College Guide.

The publication’s rankings are based on contribution to the public good in three broad categories: Social Mobility (recruiting and graduating low-income students), Research (producing cutting-edge scholarship and
Ph.Ds.), and Service (encouraging students to give something back to their country).

“We are pleased that our students continue to raise awareness about Edgewood College through their commitment to civic engagement and undergraduate research,” V.P. for Enrollment Management Christine Benedict said. “We
are especially grateful to be recognized specifically for work that so closely aligns with our Mission and commitments to building a just and
compassionate world.”

Washington Monthly was established in 1969 “as an independent voice in politics, culture, and the pursuit of good government.”
