When I was pursuing my career in occupational therapy (OT), I never imagined how much flexibility, innovation, and advocacy would shape my journey. I started in outpatient pediatrics, working hands-on with children and adolescents with physical conditions while also developing programs and policies to support their behavioral health and overall well-being. That experience showed me the power of OT—not just in direct patient care, but in shaping policies, driving systemic change, and make a lasting impact on the communities we serve.

If you’re considering a career in occupational therapy, Edgewood College’s Doctor of Occupational Therapy (OTD) Program offers the flexibility to join a dynamic profession and build a rewarding career.
