Scholarships for Freshman at Edgewood College in Madison, WI

 

Academic Scholarships ($15,000-$24,000)

No application is required. Continuous full-time enrollment is required. Admitted students are automatically considered for the following renewable scholarships. Scholarship level is based only on grade point average.

The Founder’s Scholarship

($24,000 per year)
Recipients have a high school cumulative GPA of 3.9-4.0.

The Trustees’ Scholarship

($22,000)
Recipients have a high school cumulative GPA between 3.7-3.89.

The President’s Scholarship

($20,000)
Recipients have a high school cumulative GPA between 3.45-3.69.

The Dean’s Scholarship

($18,000)
Recipients have a high school cumulative GPA of 3.0-3.44.

The Access Scholarship

($15,000)
Recipients have a high school cumulative GPA of 2.99 and below.

 


Additional Awards ($1,000-$2,000)

No application is required. Continuous full-time enrollment is required. Admitted students are automatically considered for the following renewable awards.

Alumni Award

($1,000)
Automatically awarded to students whose parents or grandparents attended Edgewood College.

Voyager Award

($2,000)
Awarded to students who live outside the state of Wisconsin.

 


Specialty Awards ($1,000-$10,000)

Priority deadline is February 1 and final deadline is May 1.

Emerging Leaders Award*

($5,000-$10,000)
This program seeks to prepare leaders compelled to promote the Sinsinawa Dominican values of truth, justice, compassion, partnership, and community. Historically underrepresented, BIPOC, and first-generation students are particularly encouraged to apply. Recipients of this award will receive mentoring, holistic & individualized support, scholarship access & leadership development opportunities.

Predolin Award

($6,000-$8,000)
Awarded to high-achieving students with financial need and an interest in studying science, engineering, medicine, nursing or business.
